They Came Dressed to Kill…

The Last Time I Say This in Public

I made a series of posts recently that touched a nerve.

All I did was point out some very real truths about self-protection and the tools we choose to carry for it. That’s it. No gimmicks. No flex. Just a cold look at the choices being made out there—and who’s making them.

So let’s say it one more time for the record:

You’ve got two options.
Carry a purpose-built tool, designed for the job—something with the features you need.
Or carry some other object, built for something entirely different, and try to mod it into your idea of what’s “cool” or “useful.”

And let’s not kid ourselves—most of those “wants” you’re chasing aren’t survival-based. They’re aesthetic.
Because the odds you’ll actually have to pull something in a self-defense scenario?
Incredibly slim.
But the odds that you’ll spend a bunch of money making your kit look cool for your feed?
Sky high.

It’s the same energy as paying for a trigger job but skipping the training.
It reeks of cosplay.
Middle-class and upper-middle-class people dressing themselves up like transients and gutter ghosts, wearing the mask of risk while they live in comfort.

I said what I said.
They weren’t ready for it.
And I’m not saying it again—not outside my circle.

From here on out, the curtain is pulled for the few who know what they’re looking at.
If that’s not you, keep scrolling.
This ain’t your show.

We’re looking for thinkers, not followers.
