May 26th, 2021, I had the opportunity to bestow my style of unarmed combat upon someone new, author, and researcher Bob Sabet. There were a few other folk present, but they don’t carry any weight in this tale. Bob and I immediately hit it off. I had just read his book on Allan Corstorphin Smith and found a new favorite author and possible friend.

Bob and I keep in touch quite frequently, and more often than not, I would be a test reader on his manuscripts. In fact, I wrote the forward for the Czech Manual and even did the sanity check for the combatives section of the manual.
